Giannis was born on the 6th of December 1994 in Athens, his parents are Nigerian immigrants, he has 4 brothers.
He grew up in Sepolia neighborhood and his brother Thanasis started selling bags, shoes, watches and sunglasses in the streets. He plays basketball with the Filathilikitos, but he started his professional career in 2012 in A2 Greek Championship.
In 2013 he was selected with 15th pick in 2013 NBA draft and he signed a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.
In the 2015 he participated in the NBA slam dunk contest of the NBA all star weekend in NY.
In 2017 he received the NBA most improved player award and he closed his season averaging 22.9 points per game and 8.7 rebounds with 5.4 assist.
In 2019 Giannis received the MVP award and he was included in all-NBA team and all-defensive team.
Now his girlfriend is pregnant and he will be father soon, but he’s still dominating the league.
